I didn’t know there were twenty thousand vegans on tumblr!!!

You can be against animal cruelty and not be a vegan

You can be against animal cruelty and not be a vegan

Also given the fact some vegans wilfully neglect their pet’s diet for personal belief reasons you can in fact be a vegan and be ok with animal cruelty when its convenient for you.

^^^^ Reblogging especially for that last comment.

Imo it’s somewhat contradictory because the animals you eat every day experience animal cruelty and that can’t be debatedI agree that vegans who force their pets to be vegan are trash but it’s not logical to say you’re against animal cruelty if you’re literally funding & enabling it

well it is possible to humanely farm animals. granted most of the meat you buy doesn’t come from farms like these but if more people started campaigning to have humane methods of slaughter (kind of an oxymoron, I know) then we could ensure that even the animals we eat are cruelty-free

unlikely to happen sadly

maybe in the future we’ll develop the technology to just grow steaks. like there are no cows involved, we just grow big ol hunks of steak

The display case at id Software’s offices holding the toy gun that was digitized to create the original Doom shotgun.
The toy was known as the “tootsieToy Dakota”, manufactured by the Strombecker Corporation of America.

http://www.tootsietoy.com/americanwest/american_west.htmlGo on their website and you can view some of their products (including that cap gun).. They mention contacting their sales department if you wish to buy anything.. Maybe they can provide you with retailers who stock/have stocked it before? Or who knows, they could even offer to sell you one straight off.

While I’m looking through old SNES manuals, here’s a bunch of dumb joke from the Earthworm Jim 2 SNES manual I’ve always loved. You hardly ever see publishers have fun with the standard information on these things.

I did love little things like this, either hidden in the games or the manuals.. But I feel like if something ever goes wrong with anything nowadays they’ll try to find any little ‘problem’ and make a cheap buck out of it..

Suing McDonald’s for making you fat? Well what about suing the game industry for making a joke that no one would ever fall for? (You know, turning off the power, who would do that?)

But in all seriousness, I love this kinda stuff.. It’s fun seeing a big business or something have a more sensitive and funny side..
